Gail Dubois 3.8

Nose: Dried fruit, chocolate cherries, strawberry laces Palate: Dark dried fruits like dates/prunes, chocolate Finish: Medium length. Dried bananas, dates, dried fig, leather, and a significant sherry presence! Finished for 7 months in a PX hogshead. 1 of 372 bottles. Bottled: August 2022 This is a heavily sherried dram. Absolutely delicious! Fruit, sherry, and a wave of chocolate-covered dried fruit. Very little spirit character remains; it could be from any distillery, but it's a big, rich, tasty dram. It ranked second out of the six drams, receiving 16% of the vote for favorite of the night. 76% of attendees enjoyed the whisky.
