(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow – Virtual Whisky Tasting, April 9, 2021). Nose: Strawberry candies, boiled fruit sweets, caramel. Palate: Very fruity, berries, children's candy. There's more than a hint of Calvados in this dram. Finish: Sweet, oily medium/long finish. Light citrus. A slightly burnt/nutty note in the aftertaste. Creamy mouthfeel. This is a sweet, light, and fruity dram. There's a considerable amount of caramel and boiled sweets on the palate, with an underlying graininess and warmth. A pleasant, refreshing dram. It's possible this came from a rather leaky barrel, as the cask only yielded 100 bottles. It ranked 6th out of the six drams tasted, receiving 6% of the final vote for favorite of the night. 69% of those present indicated they enjoyed the whisky.
