Margarita Busby 3.0

NOSE Plum, golden raisins, brown sugar, oak, vanilla, baking spice, and slightly biscuity. It becomes sweeter as it airs out, revealing a cake-like aroma, but it's very similar to the standard version. PALATE Brown sugar, molasses, plum, golden raisins, brown sugar, oak, vanilla, baking spice, and slightly biscuity with hints of blackberry taffy. Aside from a richer mouthfeel and a stronger alcohol presence, there isn't a significant difference between the regular and the Blackened Cask Strength American Whiskey. FINISH Medium-long, with notes of Cognac, corn whiskey, and butterscotch fading with an oaky undertone.

Catalina Craig 2.3

This spirit comes across as very hot with limited flavor. The aroma is quite pleasant, but anything enjoyable from it is overpowered by the heat, which negates any positive taste. I'll try it again, but the initial pour was quite disappointing.

Cindy Yarbrough 3.8

Surprisingly lacking in body on the palate considering the alcohol content. Tastes like peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream and a sprinkle of apple pie spices.

Orville Dasilva 3.8

A faint corn flavor with a mild burn as you swallow.

Deven Trimble 2.5

It's acceptable.
