About this bottle
Black Bottle XO Brandy, made from doradilla, palmino, and sultana grapes, has origins tracing back to the mid-18th century when Thomas Hardy established his winery near the River Torrens in Adelaide, South Australia. Following Cognac production methods, the wine undergoes double distillation in pot stills and is matured in Limousin casks from Cognac. In late 2011, Accolade Wines sold Black Bottle XO and a younger version to Vok Beverages, with the distillery relocating to Renmark, South Australia. This brandy is currently available only in Australia.
