Appearance - resembles apple cider Nose - licorice, grain, butterscotch. Taste - caramel apple, banana taffy, pepper, Mouthfeel - starts moist and thick, dries in the middle, and averages out in the finish. Overall - I truly appreciate the balance. It smells like a butterscotch disc, but the taste is much more dynamic. The alcohol and sweet notes encourage continued sipping, with neither overpowering the other. The oak is present, simply masked by candy. I love this. I went into this completely unaware, at over $40, and would definitely buy it again at that price.
