It's not bad. Certainly robust at 111 proof, yet surprisingly smooth for drinking neat. Adding water or ice offers slight improvement but it flattens out quickly. It works well in a Manhattan (with Carpano Antica), though an unusual perfume note appears initially. A splash of Elijah Craig rectifies this. It truly excels in a Boulevardier with a 3/2/1 ratio and a dash of E.C. While not worth the $50 price, it's still not bad.
