Received this from a family member. I didn't anticipate much from this bottle, largely because smaller distilleries often lack the expertise or aged stock for quality whiskey, but this one is decent and even pleasant. Standard notes of rye and pumpernickel, rather watery, a touch of caramel sweetness, with a gentle rye spice in the finish.
