There are several versions of Peat Smoke out there. This one, bottled in 2021 and aged for 10 years with 35ppm peat, is very disappointing overall. It has a nice smoky aroma but fails to deliver on the palate and finish. There's a slight alcohol burn and medicinal astringency on the palate, followed by a short, dry finish. The flavors do improve somewhat after it's been open for a few weeks. I would not purchase it again.
