Nose: Strong notes of raisin, dates, and fig, complemented by blackcurrants. Gingerbread. Burnt honey. The initial impression upon tasting is a thick and syrupy mouthfeel. The arrival features a burst of fresh fruit, with dark chocolate and a very subtle smoky undertone developing. The finish leaves lingering notes of green tea and banana. An outstanding representation of an intriguing malt spirit. Superb.
