Gage Herron 5.0

November 2019. Clear, deep gold to amber. The nose is powerfully sweet with PX Sherry, fruity vintage port, late bottle vintage port, wild berries, burnt apple wood, Christmas cake, sweetened dark plum, sweetened roasted dried prune, and strawberry jam. The flavor is dry and full-bodied, with fruity, oaky, smoky, vanilla, sweet, warm, and rich notes, featuring plenty of Sherry sweetness and lingering burnt campfire in the aftertaste. A ridiculously fruity bomb with a gently lingering smoke finish. An outstanding batch.
