Nose: Sweet pastry, peanut butter, toffee, milk chocolate, and a meaty quality. Palate: Thick and oily, featuring peanut butter, caramel, butterscotch candies, and a subtle hint of soy sauce. Finish: Long and spicy, with notes of vanilla, caramel, spices, walnuts, earthiness, and oyster sauce.
Served as part of a tasting flight (pour 10/14 of 1/4 oz servings) at a local whisky club. It presents nicely with notes of caramel, peach, apple, vanilla, and a malty character.
Delicate and pure.
