This spirit is like a story where the writer lost focus before the conclusion. It develops gradually, featuring intrigue and an interesting peak, then abruptly ends with no resolution. This spirit takes time to reveal its complexities. Initially, there's no aroma, but with patience, it begins to emerge. The first scent is vanilla, followed by citrus, orange zest mixed with lemon. After a further wait, pineapple, coconut, and cardamom appear. Finally, some sherry notes arise, each flavor arriving in succession. Taste: The initial impression is a strong surge of spice combined with sherry. The second taste offers sherry, cinnamon, cardamom, and clover, with a very subtle toffee note. Throughout, subtle oak undertones are present. It's actually quite pleasant. Adding water seemed to enhance chocolate notes and amplify the sherry. Personally, I preferred it without water. The finish was a letdown, nearly nonexistent.

Well-balanced on the nose and palate, but the finish is very sharp and lacks depth as a result.

Classic Speyside character. It's been aged in both ex-bourbon and sherry casks, resulting in a very full, well-adjusted profile.

It carries hints of honey, vanilla, and malt. The scent offers oak notes in place of the malt.
