Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2013, this limited edition single malt from BenRiach Distillery in Speyside spent 12 years maturing before a finishing period in an oloroso sherry butt. Cask number 3105 yielded 619 bottles of this non-chill-filtered, uncolored whisky, which was presented at 57.1% ABV cask strength.

Pecans and roasted almonds complement cherries and prunes, dominating the nose. On the palate, the red fruits are brilliant again, with a strong presence of cedar and oak. A subtle clove and white pepper on the finish, with a caramelized sweetness lingering through a long and rich conclusion. Awesome!
Floral, mild caramel, very smooth.
