Ben Nevis 2015 4 Year (Carn Mor)

Smell: mild and pleasant smoke, vanilla, almonds. Taste: very rich despite the young age, potent at 50% ABV which is immediately noticeable, it envelops you with a warm smoky embrace and embers, fresh pine needles, I can clearly sense the influence of bourbon barrels, olive oil, hazelnuts. Finish: short, leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste that doesn't thrill me. The finish is the least successful aspect of this whisky, which is still enjoyable but not exciting in any way.
