Thick texture, smoky, with good depth. An additional star is warranted due to the inexpensive cost. I heartily endorse this, but I'm unable to locate it anymore. This possesses an incredible thickness for the cost, especially when contrasted with other cheaper spirits. Wonderful peatiness and a multitude of intricate aftertastes. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Nose: Dried fruits, honey, caramel, with a subtle hint of peat. Unexpectedly full-bodied in the mouth, slightly oily and spicy. It feels more potent than it is, but it has a smooth and pleasant spicy finish. I wasn't expecting this; I was braced for disappointment, but it's genuinely quite good, especially considering the price.
Quite good for its approximate price of £17 for 0.7 liters. It presents a distinct earthy aroma with undertones of oakwood and smoked cheese. The mouthfeel is full and warm, with a taste of smoked ham seasoned with coffee bean notes, transitioning into a mildly bitter, smoky aftertaste.
Nose: smoky, vegetal. Palate: initially absent, then some sweetness and smoke appear, followed by light spices after a few seconds. Finish: herbaceous, smoky. Coffee. Fades away quite quickly. Uncomplicated, yet still the best Ben Bracken I've had up to this point.
Of the three budget Single Malts from Lidl, I find the one from Islay to be the best, but it didn't truly win me over.
Tasting Notes: The nose has a light sweetness with very little smoke. On the palate, there's an immediate slight tang, followed by sweetness and a touch of peat.
