Consumed neat. The aroma is classic for the distillery, featuring nice berries and cream with vanilla frosting. A subtle oak note evolves into dark chocolate. Hints of toffee and spearmint appear, along with baking spice. A very clean aroma from this barrel. Thicker texture than anticipated for the moderate alcohol content. Wow, this is excellent. Good distillery character evident. Vanilla frosting with a whisper of those baking spices on the palate. Transitions to more vanilla, eucalyptus, vanilla, and concludes with a pleasant milk chocolate. The dessert notes linger in the legs. I possess numerous high-quality bottles from this distillery, but this might be among the best. Impressed by its quality given its moderate price relative to other offerings from this distillery. I would rank this higher than a specific bottle I own.

Nose is constricted like tight athletic pants on a cool autumn morning. Fleeting wisps of grain/wheat with minor traces of alcohol, which is surprising given the 53.25% ABV. Immediately presents a pleasing viscosity and sweet notes of vanilla, fresh grass, and wildflowers, complemented by a smooth caramel (distinct from hard candy). This whiskey doesn't cost extra for a good experience. It has a satisfyingly long finish.
The aroma is very strong with ethanol but it doesn't carry through to the taste. An enjoyable cask strength pour with good flavor, though not exceptional for its typical price. This was a selection from Bub City restaurant sold during COVID liquidation.
I believe this is no longer made, but it was a solid choice Nose: Sweet, lower proof. Honey with a pleasant rye character Palate: Classic bourbon profile. Nice and mellow Finish: Lasting caramel deliciousness
One of the finest MGP bourbons I've experienced. Butterscotch, vanilla, toasted oak, and caramel. Very well-balanced, considering the 118 proof. A perfect score!
Unusual profile. Aroma: dense and sweet, maybe apricot? Strong cherry and vanilla, with a cherry finish. Extremely sweet. I'd recommend it 10/10.
