I'm genuinely enjoying this entire Batch & Bottle collection. I previously tried the Hendrix Martini and found it quite good. I wasn't expecting much, as bottled cocktails aren't usually my preference. I prepare them fresh and am particular about the components and execution. However, the martini made me want to explore the rest of the line. A sale at $10 per bottle, combined with a three-day hotel stay, provided the motivation to give the line another chance. The Old Fashioned isn't my typical choice. I appreciate them, but I generally lean towards Manhattans when I opt for a whiskey cocktail. That said, I do enjoy a well-made Old Fashioned on occasion. This pre-mixed version, made with Monkey Shoulder scotch, is surprisingly delightful! It's sufficiently sweet without being overly dominated by whiskey. Yet, it's not excessively sweet. A subtle hint of bitters is present. It achieves a very good balance. This is the IDEAL solution for a hotel stay. Remarkable for a $10 bottle that yields at least 4 good cocktails. Consider the alternative: $15 per Knob Creek on the rocks at the Hilton Orlando bar. There's little more to add. I also purchased the scotch Manhattan, but I'll review that another time. Suffice it to say, this purchase is making this business trip considerably more tolerable and enjoyable. A good bottled Old Fashioned enjoyed by the rooftop pool from a paper cup is far less disheartening than a poorly prepared, overpriced version from a hotel bar served in a glass. A success! Highly recommended!

Very good. I was hesitant about using scotch in an Old Fashioned blend, but it resulted in a nice drink.

It delivers exactly what you'd expect from a blend of malt, bitters, and sugar, though I prefer mine neat.
