By the time I got to this display at the whiskey tasting, I was feeling quite tipsy. I made the mistake of trying their subtle smoke first and bravely left after a small sip. However, I came back to try this surprisingly light gem. I can't describe the aroma because after getting pretty drunk, who cares about the smell? We're here to drink. I tasted cinnamon, vanilla, and something sweet that still eludes me. I would drink this again.

Lacks depth and complexity. It's very smooth and drinkable, but I'd appreciate it more with a more interesting character. It's good, just a bit plain.
You certainly can't compare this to typical bourbons. It tastes sweeter, not bitter. It's interesting as a diversion
Light and spicy on the tongue, with fresh herbs and apple on the palate, and a sweet floral finish.
Smell: flowers, herbaceous, wood, produce Sip: spicy grain, warm spice, sugary Aftertaste: spicy grain, piquant, sugary
Found this lighter rye quite enjoyable. It served as a pleasant, easy start to the weekend.
