Barrell Whiskey Infinite Barrel Project (September 20, 2019 Bottling)

Spicy, peppery, with sweet notes of orange and citrus. The finish is long, and the alcohol content is strongly felt. A few drops of water revealed oak and floral notes. Unusually, I'm not detecting the nutty characteristics typically found in other Barrell whiskeys.

This is my first time trying it, but there's scotch in this. I don't dislike it. It's peaty. I purchased it for $65. I'm trying to convince myself it's alright.

Piquant, citrus, woody
