Barrell Whiskey Infinite Barrel Project (July 16, 2018)

The aroma is rather faint, primarily defined by vanilla, light golden caramel, and perhaps a trace of spiced red apple. The taste (unexpectedly) leans into this apple characteristic, followed by some intriguing spices that wash over the finish. However, the alcohol content ultimately dominates. Overall, the drink feels bold and young. It's not unpleasant, but it certainly lacks depth.

The aroma is quite intriguing, revealing notes of European oak and cherries preserved in brandy. The alcohol hits first, followed by a blend of flavors that culminates in a spicy finish. This pour truly embodies the infinity bottle concept with its engaging complexity. I'm eager to sample the 2020 version.

A lot is happening in this pour. It smells of rye spice and fruit like Scotch. The first taste is fruity and sweet with vanilla notes, then it shifts to spice. The ending is long and spicy. This intricate whiskey has much to reveal. I enjoy it.

Honestly, I'm unsure why I enjoy this, but I do. It has a wonderful sweetness and excellent balance.
