This blend, characteristic of an infinite barrel, possesses a cask strength burn that is quite an experience. The aroma is enhanced by the barrel. When the palate can overcome the intensity of the 63% alcohol, a woody/vanilla flavor emerges in this sweet beverage. While I mostly drank it neat, adding ice or water would help temper the burn, revealing more of the nuanced flavors and diminishing the ethanol's dominance.

Dilute it a little to get past the 127 proof and you'll embark on a flavor journey spanning the globe. Scotch, bourbon, rye, Irish.. it's all here. Not a daily pour, this is for those days you want to break free... low ratings of this are from snobs expecting consistency - this is NOT for them.
Allowing this to breathe makes a dramatic difference. Nose: Cinnamon, vanilla cake, a remixed birthday cake, and dry wood. Taste: Initial cinnamon and vanilla, followed by spice. There's too much happening here; it's not great.
Slightly smoky/spicy A touch of sweet vanilla A superb pour
