Barrell Bourbon Batch 007B is a Tennessee-sourced spirit with a mash bill of 70% corn, 25% rye, and 5% malted barley. It underwent a 5-year aging period in a new American white oak barrel with a #4 char. This batch is bottled at barrel proof, measuring 120.2 proof, consistent with the company's practice of releasing unique, high-proof whiskeys.

Barrel 7B38 from Third Base Market & Spirits, 133.7 proof. The nose has notes of caramel and wood. The palate is intense, with strong wood, caramel, clove honey, and spiced nuts. The finish has notes of chocolate-covered walnuts. Later, some nutmeg and peanuts emerge. Pine sol lingers. The flavors are strong, sweet, and hot. 2/3/19.
Good alcohol content, slightly unusual oak, notes of corn and barley, medium finish. A solid blend, but not exceptional.
This is a truly excellent whiskey.
