The aroma presents notes of oak, toffee, caramel, and baking spices. The color is amber. It's very oily, leaving a slick on the glass's side that dissipates slowly. It is very sweet with a candied apple sensation on the palate. The finish is good, lasting about 10 seconds. Some cinnamon is present towards the end. The smokiness from the second barrel diminishes with aeration.
