About this bottle

The ninth edition of the Fusion series marks the final release from Bardstown Bourbon Co., featuring their in-house distilled straight bourbons alongside sourced Kentucky straight bourbon. Bardstown Bourbon Co. has blended two of their own four-year-old high-rye straight bourbons, comprising 70% of the mixture, with a 12-year-old sourced Kentucky straight bourbon making up the remaining 30%. Notably, one of Bardstown Bourbon Co.'s bourbon mash bills includes a high percentage of rye (26%) and also wheat (10%), in addition to corn and malted barley. This release was anticipated for late fall 2022, with a suggested retail price of $64.99.

Alan Champagne 3.3

Neat: Vanilla, caramel, oak. Good, but slightly let down by my initial experience with this brand.

Alexus Baker 3.3

Smoother than anticipated. Neither sweet nor excessively spicy.

Bernard Waller 2.8

Apple cinnamon spice, brown sugar, that turns sour.

Marcelo Medrano 3.5

It's acceptable, just youthful. It could pass for a $60 bottle.

Guadalupe Hanks 3.3

Herbal and zesty
