Nose: Baked fruit, rose, almond/nutty, orchard fruit (pears & apples) Taste: Banana, oak, black tea, oily/buttery mouthfeel, instant coffee Finish: Medium length. Banana, creamy mouthfeel, dark chocolate, nutty, woody. A slightly burnt note. Complex and layered. Many different, well-integrated flavors keep it engaging. The banana in the name is definitely present! I've deducted points because the aftertaste has a slightly burnt quality. It's not a 'charred barrel' taste, but more like burnt fruit, which doesn't quite suit this dram. Cask: 1st fill ex-bourbon Distilled: 12-08-2003 16 years old 1 of 194 bottles
