Smells quite strong, the alcohol stings a bit on the tongue, dark chocolate flavor in the aftertaste but generally quite potent. I suspect I tried this bottle
It feels somewhat rough on the palate but offers an interesting and smooth combination in the aftertaste, with a hint of vanilla and wood.
Peaty oak, with delicate notes of grape. Full-bodied with a chewy mid-palate and a smooth, rich finish.
The aroma is smooth, sweet, and fruity, with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. The finish is long and warming.
I actually tried a 12 year old, first fill. It was excellent.
