My second take on "Ballantine's Single Malt series" is this pleasing pour, another less renowned Speyside distillery named "Glentauchers", in its 15yo form. Clocking in at 40%abv. It smells as Speyside as can be: Apples, Pear, Berries, Fresh fruit and Cinnamon. The taste is Pleasant, a very smooth drink. Oak spice. Chocolate and cocoa butter. Tobacco leaf. The finish is all about tobacco and chocolate. brief end. Overall, this is another well-rounded, fruity, delightful whisky. Very smooth and fairly priced for a 15yo. 82 out of 100.
