Bottle 185 of 236. 57.9% ABV. Fortunate acquisition 5 years post-release from a small shop in Katy. The aroma presents berries, grape, caramel, oak, citrus, cherries, cinnamon, toffee, and toast. Much of this scent profile resembles a pleasant, albeit unusually robust, cognac, yet the taste is unmistakably whiskey. The flavor reveals cinnamon, toffee, oak, black pepper, berries, and cherry. It's enjoyable, but the aroma is where it truly excels. The finish is extended, featuring cinnamon and a spicy warmth.
