Rich and luxurious. Excellent as an after-dinner beverage. Citrus notes on the nose, despite the grape's name referring to color. The distillery's signature vanilla/brown-sugar aromas are also immediately noticeable. Good complexity on the palate with the grape varietal adding a nice touch. Pleasant mouthfeel and noticeable thickness. A good, long, sweet finish. Exceptional.

The aroma is incredible; full of dessert wine sweetness (grape-forward fruit, obviously) and almost a syrupy note with just a hint of oak. The palate follows a similar path with hardly any ethanol burn. The finish is lengthy and complex and seems to linger on the back palate with a nice warm hug. This is a winner from Balcones for sure.
