A well-balanced, 20-Year-Old Speyside Single Malt Whisky. This is the second batch from a particular independent bottler, and what a label! This Speyside distillery is rarely released as a single malt and has little connection to a zombie apocalypse, but we felt a zombie-themed label was appropriate. This release consists of 127 bottles. It starts with floral and grassy notes, hints of fresh fruit tea, cut flowers, cinnamon toast, tanned leather, red berries, barley, and vanilla. The middle develops notes of honey and honeycomb, juicy fruits like soured oranges, lemon juice, tart apples, wood, vanilla, and fruitiness. It finishes delicately with notes of wood, polish, and a trace of cloves. December 2017 / September 2022
