It's not terrible, but it's extremely close to being so. This is without a doubt the worst single malt Scotch I've ever encountered. Lacking any complexity or discernible flavor beyond an unpleasant and rather sickening scent and taste of cheap cough syrup and hand sanitizer. There's a very subtle star anise note, but it's barely perceptible and clashes terribly with the cough syrup flavor. A truly disappointing pour.
