A rich Auchentoshan single malt aged for 16 years in a single refill hogshead cask, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. It was distilled in September 2000 and bottled in March 2017, with an outturn of 319 bottles. It has a beginning with notes of citrus blossom, butterscotch, and a hint of juicy raspberries; while a drying middle adds notes of white pepper, lemongrass, and more red berry; leading to a refreshing and sweet end with a hint of orange peel.
