New England Sweetwater Farm & Distillery commenced operations in Spring 2016. Their gin is created by redistilling their premium vodka, which is made from apples and potatoes, with junipers grown on their farm and other classic botanicals introduced through vapor-infusion.

The worst gin I have ever had! I am sad to report that the ashuelot gin tastes like vodka (or a neutral spirit of some kind) is placed in a green (new) American oak barrel and bottled in the same week. A smell of green grass and oak almost musty. A taste like isopropyl alcohol... am I missing something? I LOVE gin! This is a huge disappointment!
This might be the least palatable gin I have ever encountered. It has a very sharp taste and is quite similar to a budget vodka.
