An intense Brandy from Compagnie des Produits de Gascogne in Bas Armagnac, France. It's made with a mix of Folle-Blanche, Ugni-Blanc, Colombard & Baco; distilled right after harvest to keep maximum aromas; then aged for 39 years in 100-gallon Armagnac oak casks; made from ancient white oak trees from the nearby Monlezun & Frêche forests; before being bottled in September 2019. It has an aromatic start with notes of oak, vanilla, clove, dried fruits & toasted nuts; a bold middle adds notes of prunes & anise; leading to a spicy and woody finish of moderate length.
