Said Touma, whose family has a long-standing involvement in the alcohol industry, founded Clos St. Thomas in 1997. The winery is named after the St. Thomas chapel located within the vineyards. Arak Touma undergoes four distillations using a combination of grape varietals and high-quality aniseed.

A delicate, herbal liqueur from Lebanon, crafted by Rachid Tanios Touma & Freres using grape neutral spirit and anise seeds; it was aged for at least 6 months before being bottled at 100 proof. It has a gentle beginning with hints of anise; while an elegant journey led to a swift & balanced conclusion. June / July 2020
