This is my first time reviewing rum. From my perspective, this isn't the worst version of this beverage. It's somewhere in the middle. It aged for 5 years in American oak barrels that previously held bourbon. The aroma is generally more pleasing than the taste. It has sweet caramel notes, perhaps vanilla, and a bit of spice. A nice smell. The taste is a bit sharp, but acceptable. The alcohol is still somewhat noticeable. There's a barrel presence, spices, possibly floral or fruity notes, some bitterness, and caramel in the background. The smoothness is very well concealed. The oiliness is also quite subtle. I purchased it at the "Tvoy dom" hypermarket.

The influence of the bourbon barrel is definitely noticeable in the taste. Caramel is the primary aroma, while strong elements of vanilla and oak are present on the palate with a short finish. I detect a certain minerality that reminds me of beach sand. Sweet notes are not dominant but are there. It can be sipped, but it would also work well in a cocktail. The price is for 1.5 oz.
A rather strong french oak aroma, with medium spice, vanilla, and cinnamon as anticipated, plus a hint of pear. A short duration, best suited as a mixer in my view.
It's acceptable, but not as good as Bacardi Gold.
Smooth, watery
Cinnamon and vanilla notes.
