About this bottle
Vinea is one of three expressions within the Ampersand collection from Foley Family Wines & Spirits, created by Master Distiller Chip Tate. This spirit is a blend composed of 75% eight-year-old American rye whiskey and 25% nine-year-old grain spirit. The grain spirit is made from 100% corn and has been aged in XO Cognac casks. Inspired by blended Scotch traditions, Vinea combines grape and grain elements, with the French oak influence from the Cognac casks enhancing the rye's spice and sweetness. It is bottled non-chill filtered at 92 proof, with a limited production of 8,500 bottles, available from November 2025 at a suggested price of $59.
