About this bottle
Named for its home region of Amatitán, Jalisco—the site of the earliest known agave distilling—this additive-free tequila is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave. Don Alberto Partida oversees production at Cava de Oro (NOM 1477) using agave from a single estate, which varies per batch. The agave is cooked in a mesquite-fired stone oven, crushed by tahona, fermented with fibers in wooden vats using ambient yeast, and twice distilled on 19th-century copper pot stills. It spends two months aging in former American oak bourbon barrels.
