About this bottle

This 100% blue Weber agave tequila, with no additives, is named for its home community of Amatitán in Jalisco, the region where the earliest signs of agave distillation were discovered. Tequilero Don Alberto Partida oversees production at Cava de Oro (NOM 1477). The agave is cooked in a mesquite-fueled stone oven, crushed using a tahona, fermented with wild yeast in wooden vats alongside its fibers, and twice distilled in 19th century copper pot stills. Each bottling uses agave from a single estate, which varies by batch. It is presented at 84 proof.
