About this bottle
This additive-free tequila originates from 100% organic blue Weber agave cultivated at an elevation of 9,000 feet in the Jalisco highlands. It is produced at Tequila El Rocio, S.A. de C.V. (NOM 1636). The agave is cooked for 72 hours in a masonry oven, milled using a tahona, and undergoes wild and malolactic fermentation in American oak barrels. This tequila is distilled in alembic pot stills and aged for several months in new American oak barrels, bottled at 80 proof.
