A complicated Blended Scotch Whisky from an unnamed Scottish distillery. It's a mix of 75% single malt and 25% grain whiskies aged in ex-Bourbon barrels for 18 years. The start is fragrant with malt, oak, toffee, strawberry, vanilla, and yogurt. The middle is rich and creamy with butterscotch and palm sugar. The end is long and complex with milk and spices.
Quintessential sherry cask finished, friendly highland blend. Bold backbone of caramel flavors, almost a bourbon nose, no grassy notes.
Butterscotch at the start, with a smooth, oaky finish. It's light-bodied but improved as I drank more.
Sweet with a tobacco-like earthy finish. I genuinely enjoy it!
