Good, but shares the same criticism as the Royal Oak bottling, lacking specific distinctiveness. Just another rum, even though the aroma is very pleasant and approachable: caramel, vanilla, clove, cinnamon. Medium length and the alcohol is tempered by sugar.

About this bottle
Saint Lucia Distillers produces the Admiral Rodney rums using a traditional twin column Coffey still. The HMS Princessa rum is crafted from spirits distilled in the lower sections of the still, yielding a more robust profile. These rums were aged for 5-9 years in former bourbon casks before being blended and bottled at 40% ABV.
