Maeve Hail 3.8

Golden apples, French oak spice & dryness, deep olorosso Sherry on the nose; soft mineral brine, mandarin orange, sweet barley nuttiness, cinnamon bark, spruce, Meyer lemon, nutmeg, creme brulee, black & red peppercorns. More French oak than American, though the creme brulee from the American oak was noticeable. It's difficult to determine if the American oak was second fill, as the French oak spice/dryness is dominant, as is typically the case. The higher ABV provides a boost, though the lack of age statement is evident.

Nanette Herron 3.5

Almond, marzipan, and ripe apples. Some fantastic notes are present, unfortunately hindered by its young character. It mellows with water, though the mouthfeel thins out and the nutty notes fade, revealing some herbal qualities. It's decent, just not exceptional.

Byron Reed 3.5

It has flavors of apple, cherries, orange, and cinnamon with ginger. The aroma is wonderful, and the palate is smooth.
