About this bottle

Aberfeldy 15 Year French Red Wine Cask Finish spent 15 years maturing in a mix of refill and re-charred bourbon casks. The whisky was subsequently finished in red wine casks sourced from the Pomerol appellation in France's Bordeaux region. This limited-edition release became available for purchase in November 2019 in Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

Carolyn Sanchez

Superior to the awful standard 12yr, but it still carries those gin-like notes, though less intensely. They overpower the very subtle fruit flavors. Dammit.

Ilene Rendon 3.0

Aroma: wine, sweet, sherry Taste: full-bodied, sweet Finish: regrettably, a taste of semen appears

Katelyn Wisniewski 4.5

Prominent red wine aroma Dry character Mild profile Sweet, reminiscent of honey A truly distinctive whisky flavor

Carissa Mccollum 4.8

Full-bodied, like dessert, toffee.
