(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow – Virtual Whisky Tasting, March 5, 2021). Aroma: Fruity - berries, raisins, and plums. Creamy and slightly bready. Palate: Dried fruit, pronounced sherry notes, licorice, berries, and cream. Finish: Medium-long, with a sherry influence. Abundant dried fruit on the aftertaste. This comes from an unnamed Speyside distillery, though it is known to be part of the Edrington group. To me, it resembled a sherry-matured Glenrothes. Parcel No 4 3 sherry butts 3.58% angels share Distilled: 2010 Bottled: 2020 Selected by Oliver Chilton It tied for fourth place out of the six whiskies, with 11% of the final vote for favorite of the night. 61% of those present indicated they enjoyed the whisky.
