Smell: Salty, lemony, and alcoholic. Taste: It starts with lemon, then a delicate saltiness akin to dark chocolate with sea salt. The texture is thick. Finish: Sweet and salty, with a lasting saltiness. Overall: My favorite spirit to date. Anything from Caol Ila appears to be consistently good. 5/5
