Izaiah Greenwood 3.8

Malted Barley, Cherrywood Smoked Malt, Crystal Malt, and Rye vapor-infused with Opal and Mosaic Hops aged in New Charred American Oak Barrels Nose: The hops are prominent with notes of cedar and pine. Beneath that lies sweet butterscotch with cinnamon apples and a whiff of wood smoke. Palate: The palate mirrors the nose well, with everything in good balance, but the rye becomes apparent now. Layers of caramel, cinnamon apples, cedar, pine, and spicy black pepper, rounded out with more smoke. Finish: Sweet wood smoke and cedar persist for a pleasant, long finish. Summary: Proof of how exceptional experimental distilling can be. Very well-balanced and enjoyable.
