About this bottle
A 100% rye (rogge) mash bill forms the base of this genever, consisting of equal parts malted and unmalted rye. The spirit undergoes triple distillation in a copper pot-still before being matured in new American oak casks of 200 liters at 45% ABV. Following maturation, botanicals, including juniper, licorice, and aniseed, are introduced to a portion of the aged rye and subjected to a further distillation. This is then combined with the remaining unbotanicaled spirit and allowed to rest, before being reduced to a 35% ABV bottling strength. Due to the unaged botanicals, this product does not qualify for a 5-year age statement.
