An intense, flavored brandy from Turkey, made with raisins from Rasaki and Kalecik Karasi grapes, infused with aniseed, and triple distilled in copper pot stills; it was then aged in oak barrels before bottling at 47% ABV. It presents an aromatic beginning with notes of grape alcohol and herbs; a complex development adds hints of vanilla, oak, black pepper, and pine, culminating in a long and balanced finish favored by anise lovers. October/November 2023.
