Smells of pepper, cinnamon, lemon cleaner, vanilla, medicine, and toasted marshmallow. Tastes of sour lemon, chili pepper, spice, nylon, cinnamon, and is young. The finish has peppercorn and iodine. Overall, it's a bit too young and sour for my liking, with not much oiliness. Another 1-3 years of aging would mellow the sourness and add complexity. Adding water ruins it, removing most of the aroma and the spice from the taste.

This rye was quite pleasing, packed with taste and easy to drink. The finish lingered nicely. I’d be happy to have a full bottle of this in my regular whiskey selection.
I recognize it's quite costly, but this spirit is also quite good. My initial impression was of bourbon smoke, but that fades very rapidly, revealing the rye it truly is.
A pleasant honey flavor is apparent here -- the cost is justified by the quality within.
The palate shows a lot of honey and apple. This is an unusual and interesting rye.
